캘리포니아에서는 다양한 인종의 역사와 문화를 가르치기 위한 의미있는 움직임들이 일고 있습니다. 

캘리포니아 주립대에 인종학 3학점을 필수이수토록 하는 법안이 통과(2020.8월)되어 2024년 적용을 앞두고 있고

공립 고등학교의 인종학 모델 커리큘럼이 확정(2021.3월)되어, 한인 커뮤니티가 제출한 7개 주제의 한인사가 반영되는 성과도 있었습니다.

 이에 다음과 같은 한인사 인종학 웨비나(8/18일 부터 매주 수요일, 7회)를 개최한다고 하오니 관심있는 분들께

◦ (Purpose): To establish a forum for discussion with Korean American history scholars and educators in order to share their expertise, current status and future plans of Korean Ethnic Studies, including 7 Korean American Ethnic Studies Model Curricular already developed. Supplementary lessons will be modeled and teaching resources for K-12 classroom will be provided.
